Kyle Houston is a Statesville native. After five years at UNC Charlotte studying Political Science, Economics, and Computer Science, he returned home in 2013 and has built his career here ever since: founding and running local businesses, serving on community boards, and twice standing for elected office in Statesville.
Today he is Chief Operating Officer of Crossroads Insurance Agency, an independent insurance agency in Statesville, and the founder of Sleek Ride, an auto-services platform he started in 2024. Earlier in his career he spent more than six years building and running his own Allstate insurance agency. His community service includes the presidency of the Rotary Club of Greater Statesville, an executive board seat with the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, and a director's chair at the Iredell Concert Association, along with several years hosting Houston's Solutions on WSIC News.
