Statesville needs to focus on sustainable economic growth, and our city council needs to continue to work to attract companies that can offer high wages to the residents of Statesville.

Our city desperately needs new ideas, and pragmatic leadership.

I believe that we can be leaders in the State to finally live up to the idea that we are the Crossroads to the Future.

We are actively engaged in reinvesting our resources back into this community through volunteer efforts and charitable contributions.

That's what our community needs. A merciless demand for truth. Not the willingness to bury our problems in the sand and pretend they don't exist.

I was so proud to represent the Greater Statesville Rotary Club today, along with several others, as we presented our local Elder Center with a check from our largest fundraiser of the year.

So many people have asked me why local elections are so important. This is a great example of just how important it is that you understand who your leaders are.
